Thoughtful, refined, and quietly striking, Project Gordon is a modern family home that balances strong architectural lines with a soft, inviting presence. Designed in collaboration with OH Architecture, this contemporary build reimagines suburban living through clean forms, clever screening, and a seamless connection to the landscape.

The site itself called for a confident response. Situated on a gentle slope, the design embraces the natural gradient with a clear, structured layout. A crisp white upper level floats elegantly above a warm, textural base, creating a beautiful sense of contrast. Vertical screening wraps the façade, offering privacy and shade while giving the home its distinctive rhythm. Behind these screens, generous windows flood the interiors with light without compromising comfort or seclusion.

Entry is carefully considered. A layered approach leads you up through lush planting to a sheltered front door, setting the tone for the calm, curated spaces within. The garage is tucked to one side, maintaining a clean streetscape and allowing the home’s architectural form to take centre stage.

Inside, the spaces are designed to unfold gradually, revealing glimpses of greenery and sky at every turn. Living areas flow effortlessly to the outdoors, creating a home that feels both open and grounded. Landscaping plays a key role here, softening the bold geometry and tying the house to its surroundings.
