Mitchell and his team really enjoy being able to make an impact in the clients’ lives that we work with, and have even been lucky enough to pick up a few awards for projects we have completed along the way.

Leadership

Mitchell, our Director, and the longest-serving employee has been in the business since 2007 when his father Geoff (then owner) brought him on as a first-year carpentry apprentice.

After finishing his apprenticeship, Mitchell progressed quickly into a leading hand role — supervising and managing projects from renovations and extensions to commercial builds.

His passion for the building industry matched his father’s and eventually in 2015, Mitchell took the reins and became Owner and Director of Watara Homes Constructions, while continuing to build on the reputation that Geoff had created the 20+ years prior. Mitchell takes great pride in his role as Director of Watara while leading each new project and the incredible team that helps to bring them to fruition.

Where Mitchell’s real passion lies is in meeting and establishing a strong relationship with new clients—guiding them step by step through the ‘Watara Process’ and educating them on the individual stages of their projects. He continues to find solutions to challenges that may arise throughout each phase of the project whilst keeping his client’s informed and most importantly, delivering our guarantee.
